Kid Music Lessons
For kids, lessons focus on building a strong musical foundation while keeping learning fun. Jamison’s approach combines structured practice with creativity, helping children grow in confidence, coordination, and rhythm. Instruments like guitar, piano, and ukulele are complemented by percussion options to keep every lesson exciting and dynamic.
Teen Music Lessons

Jamison Belec
Owner/Educator:
Mr. Belec is a native of Lexington, SC where he attended White Knoll High School and North Greenville University, studying Music Education. He is a new found Educator Endorser with Salyers Percussion. He is also a classical trained pianist, and professional DJ working with multiple companies in the Upstate of SC. Recently, Mr. Belec opened up his own private lesson studio entitled "Belec Music Studios" based in Greer, SC, where he teaches students multiple instruments included to Drum Set, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, and Orchestral/Marching Percussion. He is Currently the Director of Percussion at Landrum High School.
Before assuming his current position at Landrum High School, Mr. Belec was the Director of Percussion at Blue Ridge High School. Under his guidance, the percussion program grew to outstanding measures, including, multiple Best Percussion Awards at local marching band competitions, performances with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Taylors First Baptist Church, and percussion ensemble performances at the South Carolina Day of Percussion receiving excellent ratings in 2023, and 2024. While at BRHS, he was able to create the first ever Greenville County Percussion Showcase held at North Greenville University in partnership with Travelers Rest High School, giving students and opportunity to learn and grow in spring percussion ensembles. While at Blue Ridge High School, he also was a quad tech for Charles Towne Percussion, based in Charleston, SC during the 2024 season.
Continuing his dedication at Landrum High School, Mr. Belec has driven the percussion ensemble to unparalleled achievements and growth. Their accomplishments include captivating performances with Best Percussion Awards in the past marching seasons, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, and the WSPA Channel 7 News Station in Greenville, SC. The group has seen exponential growth over the past 2 years, bringing a new found spark in the percussion studio and culture at Landrum High School. Under Mr. Belec's leadership, He was able to create the very first Travel Performing Drumline entitled "Cardinal Pulse" which has sparked attention from the community bringing energy in performances. They are set to have performances with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Charlotte Hornets, and the Hub City Spartanburgers this Spring.
Mr. Belec is excited about the brand new lesson studio and provides fun and engaging lesson for all ages and is looking forward to the growth of the studio in the coming years.

What age groups does Jamison Belec Music Studio cater to?
We offer Guitar, Piano, Bass, Ukulele, Drum Set, Orchestral Percussion, and Marching Percussion lessons for students of all ages, from children as young as five to adults. Each lesson is customized to match the student’s age, skill level, and learning goals.
Do I need to have a music instruments to take lessons?
Having a both of instruments is beneficial for practice, but it isn't a requirement to start lessons. We recommend starting with an acoustic guitar — it’s a great fit for beginners.
How long does each lesson last, and how often do they occur?
Each lesson typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, held usually once a week at the studio in Farmington.
Can I schedule lessons at my convenience?
